Just a note to tell you that this lift is awesome, I'm using the heck out of it. It lifts my 9500 pound truck and doesn't even grunt. As a retired Navy Submarine Officer, I know machinery and structural integrity, I can say from many years experience that the lift is way ahead of its competition. The wire rope is first rate. The wire ropes are reeved through sheaves that are well above the diameter to drum ratio minimums which will increase their life expectancy by orders of magnitude. This is not the case in the competition, as well as the structure of the supports and runways. I really like the hidden cylinder and reeving. The cylinder is over engineered as well, it is robust for the job to say the least. I did my homework on this, as I will have to work with this lift at my home garage and wanted the best with safety in mind as well. This BendPak lift is everything I could ask for and more. I am as pleased as I can be. I want to thank you personally for your personal touch in this and especially thank you for your support and business ethic, it is truly refreshing to see in this day and age. BendPak is very much the same, their technical folks are very professional and knowledgeable. I would like to say also that the installers were very professional, giving expert suggestions on lift placement in the bay and their technical expertise. They had it installed and tested in no time, and fully respected my property, cleaning the area and packing up the packing materials leaving me to enjoy a fully operational lift. Thanks again, I'll be ordering more accessories shortly.. Equipment Purchased: HDS-14.
